The improved design features a long lasting  "external" heating element that has eliminated excessive mineral build-up, Steam pressure up to 50 PSI, comparable to much larger units,  is reached in less than 15 minutes. It also features an ECO mode that is engaged automatically keeping the unit in ready mode, at  20 PSI when not in use, saving energy and prolonging life of internal components, The 5100CJ is solenoid foot pedal activated and has a n external safety pressure valve.
